WEB GEMS- Bot 8th: Craig Counsell robbed Phil Nevin of a base hit.

Jake Westbrook carried a no-hitter into the 6th inning and Dustan Mohr had 2
base hits and 2 RBI as the streaking Santa Fe Trailer Bitches defeated the
Columbus Crowd in 10 innings 9 to 8 at the ballpark.

The score was knotted at 8 after nine innings. Santa Fe won it in the 10th
inning. After an out was recorded, Eric Chavez lashed a single. Vance
Wilson came next and he smacked a single. Augie Ojeda then drew a walk to
load the bases. Junior Spivey came up and he banged out a single giving
Santa Fe the victory as 53,696 happy fans celebrated wildly. The game was a
wild affair with the lead changing hands 5 times.

Travis Harper(3-6) went 2 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. The
right-handed Westbrook lost his chance for a no-hitter when Garret Anderson
singled with one out in the 6th inning. The loss was charged to B.J.
Ryan(6-4) in relief.

Santa Fe continued their winnings ways improving their record to a division
leading 89-49. They are 9-1 in their last ten games. Even with the loss,
Columbus still has a nice 8-2 record in recent weeks. They are 81-57 on the
season.
